Executive Summary: A masterclass on DKIM, SPF, DMARC, and IP reputation management for AWS SES users.

There is nothing worse than building a beautiful marketing campaign only for it to land in the Gmail Spam folder. Deliverability is an engineering problem. ### The Holy Trinity: SPF, DKIM, DMARC - **SPF (Sender Policy Framework):** A DNS record proving your server is allowed to send emails for your domain. - **DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail):** A cryptographic signature attached to every email, proving it wasn't tampered with. - **DMARC:** Tells receiving servers what to do if SPF or DKIM fails (Reject, Quarantine, or None). ### Warming Up Dedicated IPs If you buy a dedicated IP on AWS SES and immediately blast 50,000 emails, you will be blacklisted. You must slowly 'warm up' the IP by sending 50 emails on Day 1, 100 on Day 2, following an exponential curve.
